I have no idea what I get for winning at this point. I will let you know when I find out.

This particular picture was taken last year at Kanwha Falls State Park near Gauley Bridge, WV, on Route 60 - between Charleston and the New River Gorge Bridge. My wife took the picture with a tripod and a time delay on her Nikon.

Anyway, I got the award for October Ride of the Month, the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. With the holidays, Black Friday kamikaze shopping, new carpeting and sofa, the house torn apart, Christmas decorations and all, I have had very little time to take a picture of it until now. I want to share it with you folks since you helped me win it !!! BTW - notallthere did a great character assassination of me winning this thing in the latest issue of the Michigan Widetracker's newletter, The Tracker, since he and the missus are now the new editors.

Don't be surprised when I come begging again for your help sometime after the first of the year too. JUSTA tells me there will be a Ride of the Year competition amongst the monthly winners. I don't know any of the details at this point. So stay tuned.
