Who codes shopping cars!?!?

Well my mom felt bad that she bought my sister and her boyfriend a dinner giftcard for Valentines day and didn't get me anything and all the sacrifices I've done for the family this semester to save us money (and also make her feel better about me) so she said what do you want that is like $20. Lately I've been in the kick of wearing GM shirts like I've had this Chevy shirt for the longest time thats getting worn, I have this USF shirt that Pontiac GMC Buick sponsored us doing something so I ware that a lot along with the my recently acquired Pontiac G6 shirt, from some site :lol2: .

Anywho the jist of the story is I ordered a shirt from GM Performance Division. This is the shirt which I love and ordered http://websitestores.net/gmperformance/def...e=1&subcat= and then in the mail today I got this shirt http://websitestores.net/gmperformance/def...e=1&subcat= which is nice but definitely not what I ordered and just surprised me that really what is going on in this day in age! In the last year I've gotten my orders mixed up by different companies throughout the interwebz!!!! I bring about the question who codes these things and why are they messing up NOW and to me! Are people who are supposed to be checking what happens, not checking anymore and just sending it out? Are the coders to blame and just f-ing something up?

Whatever it is online companies need to become more aware because I'm fed up with this. I'm just about to start making my own stuff because in the stores I get treated like crap from people who hate their jobs, online my orders get mixed up and I end up getting charged fro things I didn't get or end up getting the wrong item!! Seriously WTF!!!!!

Well theres another rant out the window, let me know if you guys are encountering this too cause its really making me mad especially when I'm a coder myself and a businessman that if I made this mistakes I would own up to them and credit my customer with what I messed up or send them the correct item!! I seriously don't get companies like JC Penny that totally screwed up my moms order to my grandpa for Christmas and wouldn't give her the correct items, wouldn't cancel the order and wouldn't comp the order towards a new one. They only gave her like 10% off her next order which is BS because she gets 10% offs in her email daily. Seriously what is going on this day in age, you would think customer service this day in age would be better!

first one if it has the same back as the first

Have you contacted them to see if they will make an exchange since you technically ordered the other shirt?

first one if it has the same back as the first

nope on the one I got in the mail that I didn't order the back is a roof shot of the Camaro, in the one I ordered it says GM Performance Division. If I wanted just a Camaro shirt I would have gone to eBay but I wanted the GM Performance Division logo on the back big so thats why I went there.

In the process of it but to me its the principle of the thing. I click this and the code will say I ordered one shirt not the other, thats what really bothers me. I know these programs and have coded versions of them for use on my sites and they are SIMPLE I don't understand how they mess it up!

Sorry your order got screwed up man and I mean that. But I hate online shopping for several reasons, being someone that has worked retail for 20 years. Online shopping was all created by company's to cut out us employees so they dont have to pay us. Also for all them lazy ass people that wont get off the couch and put away the chicken wings. But when there order gets screwed up who do they talk to? No not the online store they get in there car, come down to the store and give us the store employees that dident even make a buck on the sale and give us shit for it. Sorry for the return rant but well I hate online shopping its going to screw us retail people out of all our jobs some day. If you dont believe me, remember back in the day when a real person use to answer the phone?

I totally agree with you Joe that online shopping has closed a lot of doors for people in the retail business and probably caused a lot of headaches because of the people who don't know who to go to but in all reality its opened so many doors for the consumer. Really the only reason I love shopping online is because I get better prices than at the store. I know that its probably not best for the store or employees but the company will still get its money from some one else who buys it for the real price. For instance recently I bought Forza 3 at BestBuy.com for $10!!! I did store pickup and picked it up an hour later and I looked at the store and they were charging $59.99 for it!! I'm sure they would have matched it because I have worked in retail but I never liked going through that "Oh we'll match anything" process because its always a pain in the butt because they don't want to get the manager and the manager even though he smiles through it all you know he doesn't like it either.

Overall I couldn't just go out and buy a lot of the things I do buy online anyway like this shirt, nowhere would of had it here. In ways online shopping opens some doors even though it closes others because now people can sell things online and ship to different countries where before only the elite could be able to get things from different countries without paying a fortune or visiting the country.
