So What If..

So what if I bought HPTuners and the books to learn then got good at it in the future and started a small LLC....would anyone want a tune? Is $200-250 a fair price to you guys and would $50 off for Nova street scene and Va Ride and Forever Pontiac members? Im looking for more of an interest in it. So hat's your guys feedback and this would be like 1-2 years or something like that just for a small side business. And also for those who don't know HpTuners does Ford, Chevy and soon dodge at least to my knowledge. i would use a tablet and if you wanted drive to you and charge a $30 gas fee for over 60 miles away and an additional 20 for every 60 miles after i would be an LLC (Limited Liability Corp) Id start with my car then some friends cars before i became a business.

Not to be rude Alex but in order to do something like this I would suggest upping your grammar skills and ability to make coherent sentences/paragraphs. I could barely understand what you are trying to say. Presentation is half the battle in selling something and if the user can't understand what you're saying they're not going to want to contact you or buy from you.

Anyway if you do want to do this and eventually sell on here or even offer a discount, you would have to go through the vendor process

You would have to build a SOLID base. Tuning is the single most important mod on the car. I don't even trust professional tuners locally that don't know hpt but want to learn on my car. If you can get 5-10 people and have them be fully satisfied you may have a good market. To start you might have to do them relatively inexpensive.

I would either get liability insurance or open and LLC business for liability reasons, but i need to do more research on it and the cost to start up. I would give a $50 discount to members here and on other forums I am a member of. The tuning price would be 200-250 depending on the net profit margin. I can only do Ford, Chevy, and soon Dodge when they open up credits for it. I would use a tablet for the program and would mainly drive to my customers. Customers over 60 miles away will be charged a $30 gass fee and for each additional 60 miles there will be a $20 charge on top of the $30.
