1960 Dash Pad Replacement Questions

Featured Replies

I am contemplating replacing the dash pad in my 1960 Bonneville Vista. It is not cracked, but has shrunk, causing it to leave a gap in the corners and to buckle in a couple of places.

Some questions:

Is there any source out there other than "Just Dashes" in California? If anyone has used them, particularly for a 1959 or 1960 dash, what is your experience?

Does the windshield have to be taken out to remove/install the dash pad?

Thanks much.

OPGI and Ames don't handle a dashpad for this car unfortunately.

"Just Dashes" uses the metal base of the original dashpad from the car and builds a new dashpad around it. Very expensive.
