Featured Replies

I have a 66 Pontiac 2+2 and trying to get the cowl off, need to remove the wiper arms but having trouble. Anybody know how to remove them. I tried prying up but they arent moving.

Thanks.

I have a 65 GP. Prying them up is the only way. Perhaps some judicial tapping underneath combined with spray lube. They are simply an interference fit on splines. Obviously, be sure to use folded up rags to protect any surrounding finishes. They will pop out but yours might have rusted in place. The cowl will then come out once you undo several small bolts above the firewall.

Finally got them off, A lot of videos showed the clip but its impossible to get to. Mine have the extra little arm under it and is in the way. I just used a pry bar and got them off. Thanks all for the response.
