1968 Firebird 400 Pilot Bearing with or without dust seal

Featured Replies

I an rebuilding my 1968 Pontiac 400 Engine. I plan to use a roller bearing  pilot bearing. From what I can see there is no dust or oil seal on the pilot bearings that I have seen. I am currently looking at the one from NPD. I also called and confirmed that there is no seal. Is there one out there with a seal or should I not be concerned if the is none?
