Too bad, followed her with Mythbusters and Overhaulin’, she was an interesting character. Sounds like a rough way to go but at least she went out doing something she loved.

Cause of the wreck was due to:

Tragically, that makes sense to me. The collapse of the front wheel assembly would pitch the nose of the vehicle down towards the ground. Inertia, friction, and gravity will do the rest.
