1965 Windshield Wiper removal

Recommended Posts

I have a 1965 Bonneville convertible that I am in the process of restoring. I cannot figure out how to get the windshield wipers off. Can anyone tell me how to do it, or if there is a special tool? Thanks......Jeff

IIRC Your '65 Bonnie is just like the A-Bodies, It has small clips under the arm keeping them secured to the spline shaft.

You need one of those $9 Wiper Arm Removal Tools, this will assist in lifting the arm off.

Some will say you can use a screw driver and thats fine it you don't care about your paint.

Cheers
