The little 4 banger would not sound good IMO. If you’re looking for a more aggressive sound and some minor performance to boot, a good performance exhaust and intake setup is your friend. Throw in a tune and you’ll be doing better too.

Hey guys what's up I'm new to this and wonder what my Pontiac g6 2.4l would sound like if I just removed the rear muffler????? Thanks

The other thing to consider if you removed the mufflers is it maybe illegal to run on the street. Many cities and states have noise ordinances for motor vehicles. By removing the muffler, you are increasing the decibels - which may put you in conflict with the law. It maybe smarter to buy a performance cat-back system instead. These usually add horsepower and they are either 49 or 50 state legal.
