Well, I figured since my car was up and running again, I'd start an actual progression! This is the day I brought her home! This is acutally my first brightly colored car, my previous ones being midnight blue and black! Rolling shot on the way home from the dealer. 3800 baby. Not that wheezy 3100 i was used to! Swapping the projectors from my SE into my GT Projectors installed w/55w 6k DDM's Nighttime output (while driving) ya...i know bad camera work! First few coats of nightshades! And as of friday night - the finished tinted/cleared lights Ill get pictarz of them on the car when it stops freaking raining. annnnd 55w 6k/ddm HID's in my fogs. oh and heres WTF cat again. For those who dont know, my grand prix managed to rupture right behind the fans at the botton of the core, ive been having to add 3 gallons of water per trip to get from work, then again to get back home. well, my 99 SE donated her radiator to the cause. And as of around 9pm tonight, Red is up and running like nothing was wrong Thanks to cmessick for his hard work and willingness to do this for sh*ts and giggles, so... heres some photos Almost got it out of Black! cmessick...ugh...celebrating the freeing of the radiator.... 2 days later - Red's radiator comes out, much easier with experiance we got removing Blacks. Blacks radiator in place and ready to be hooked up to the wiring harness and have all the hoses attached! Its best... well... was easier to disconnect/reconnect the lower trans line with it...well up. Mr. Messick.... well... i dunno what the hell he was doing. Both Radiators out... we were trying to check clearance to see if the larger fans from the 99 would clear the exhaust mani. They do. WTF cat in my car. This whole project was stretched over two days, we both learned alot. And best of all, my car is running great again!!!

Well, talked to my guy, and were going to prep my old SE to swap radiators with the GT. Say a prayer to the poncho gods thanking it for its sacrifice.

found the source of my coolant leak.... yay. just gotta replace the radiator.

Stu gonna do IE justice? He's got some pretty epic shoes to fill. I saw iced earth play with megadeth here in lafayette, and during the some Dracula his PA went out - and i could still hear matt barlow singing over everything and everybody else.

Oh it is so full of win, i cant stop listening to these guys. Driving my roomies nuts with all the thumping from my system. lol Oh add iced earth to the prog-metal list man! Though, they are on there third vocalist, up until now both incarnations with Matt Barlow and Ripper Owens were bad ass. I just hope this new kid can live up to that.

i can replace everything from the Upper Intake Mani and gaskets all the way to the radiator..... water pump...lim gasket etc... for 253 shipped from rockauto. My dad is gonna loan me the cash for the parts cause my GI bill check got ganked because i apparently was getting "to much". Local friend of mine will do the work so, to hell with figuring it out just gonna fix it all.

Had a local buddy look at this and he thinks the radiator is cracked or punctured. It will leak like a crazy person while running and just after running but after its sat for awhile it stops. Checked the oil - no milkshake, the UIM is seeping but no way its the culprit - need some opinions before i gank the radiator from my 99 3.1 GP and make it inoperable. So, i am posting a short video of the leak.... hope it helps - any input about this by someone more mechanically inclined than i will help.

the infamous upper intake manifold gasket issue decided it was time to show up, good news though, gonna get the zzp HV3 insert which comes with the gasket anywho.
