Del, the guy who rebuilt your super Hydromatic... does he have a email address ? i have been hunting the web for that front seal kit and i am not sure which is the correct one, i am thinking he would be the best to buy the parts from.

i do see there are kits that include not only that press in seal for the front behind the coupling but the o rings for that from section too! if i am going to all the trouble of doing the seal i am inclined to do all the seals.

I know Gene bought the parts from Fatsco.net. They are knowledgeable and easy to talk to with questions. Gene, my transmission guy is old school with no apparent email but his website is restorationhydromatics.com.

    https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/cars/pontiac/other/listing/3329074506?bof=UKDwhbEv

Seems like a deal. The Big question would be if there is rust issues.

  3. Not a big fan of the aftermarket bling but I do like this underglow light package. I needed 2 to make it all the way around the car. These pictures do not do it justice. It allows you to select light chase settings with their phone app. It will make the car dance! Simple zip tie to car frame install. 12 power connection.

  4. I have what looks like original stainless wipers on one Bonnie but not the other. It looks like mine are 17”. I don’t see them on Ames. I did a search on ebay and found a used pair of 17”. I know I can install new rubber myself. I would suggest searching 17” trico stainless wipers. First 4 pics are of mine and last two are what I just ordered on ebay.

what brand did you use Del ?

i have the same issue with the brand new door seals on my hq holden ute, and they have been on for over a year now !!! and the doors are still hard to close!!! ( they where rare spares brand, and supposed to be the best for holdens  😡!!!)

yet the soft seal brand ones i stuck on my last 57 chev, worked perfect... guess its just luck.🙄

It seems about right. After being on a while it is easy to close

I thought I had the wrong rubber installing mine because it’s so puffy the door didn’t want to close. I guess that’s normal until they flatten

I managed to get a hour on the head light trims today

    gave them a good polishing

    then masked them off,

    repainted the black in fills

then using a cotton bud and some acetone I wiped the paint off the chrome high lights .... very happy with the way they came out
