Damn thats awsome. Im gonna take mine up to the track this year and run it. I was looking into some tuning software and heard that are trucks have GMC Acadia electronics? Also that there was no tuning for the GXPs yet. If you could let me know where your buddy got the software that would be great. I am thinking of just open cone filter and maybe custom exhaust system. Take a listen to 01CAVS G6 GXP with exhaust. The LY7 sounds sick. Also looks like are Torrents got a lil bit more HP then the G6 and G8 LY7's. G6 252HP G8 256HP Torrent 264HP According to Wiki

I was looking at your cardomain page does you Gxp really run a 14.1? I just purchased my torrent Gxp and it doesn't feel as fast as my 2000 GTP that runs high 13s.

I will prolly keep the Turbo GP stock and get body work done on it. They have a notorious problem with the ABS system on them so if that starts acting up before I get the body work done I might put the turbo setup in my 95 SE. I love the style of the early gen GPs more than my 2000 GTP but love the L67 motor so thats why I got the newer style. I plan on keeping all my GPs and might want to add either a GTO or G8 to my collection in the future. The only vehicle that I own that is not a pontiac is my Chevy K2500 but thats because pontiac didnt make a truck

Anyone on here play around the the LY7? I am getting a torrent gxp just wondering if there is any aftermarket for this motor yet. This is def the best Torrent I have seen yet.

Of course lol. Gen V Supercharger, Northstar TB, Upgraded tranny I could go on but would be here to long. Ran a 13.7 but need a tune real bad. Also gonna be gettin into this Mclaren project in the spring so GTP might be on hold.
