  1. Thanx for the tip on the fitment tool. Sounds like cheap insurance.
  2. Year One has their cast aluminum Rally II's. Opinions on 17"x8" or 17"x9" or staggered with 8's up front and 9's in the rear. I am going with a Ride Tech coilover package with the 2" drop up front. Possible sizes for these? I was rolling on 15"x7's with 255-60R-15's.
  3. The start of the rebuilding process. Frame is now stripped, making a few minor repairs before heading to be sandblasted and powder coated. Sand pictures always end up sideways🥺
  4. My engine is back home. Should be getting the flow sheet soon. As it sits, KRE heads modified by SD Performance, port matched Torker II, Comp Cams roller cam, H beam rods, forged aluminum pistons, .040 overbore. I did go with the HEI ignition. It's cleaner and more simple. Less parts , less failures.
  5. Thanx for your input. I don't have any dyne numbers yet, could make a difference. Not expecting 600, though.
  6. I have a 70 400 that should be coming back from the rebuilder soon. Looking at putting on an EZ-EFI system. Also need new ignition set-up. Any set-ups that have worked and/or didn't work out? No points. Digital box? I am not worried about stock appearing, want reliable and bulletproof. Thanx
  7. And my wife is going to ask"and where are you going to put that shirt?"
  8. I found this site through my Instagram account. I have a 1970 GTO that I have owned since 1977. It is still under construction. I don't have any flattering photos of it, just a partially disassembled car in my garage. The engine is being rebuilt at SD Performance in BC Canada. Its bored .040 over, forged aluminum pistons, original crank, with the addition of KRE aluminum heads. It is the original block. Will add a 4 speed auto to replace the TH400. Factory equipped with the hood tach. Adding upgrades such as 4 wheel disc brakes, EFI, air ride suspension. I have the factory Judge rear deck spoiler along with the front spoiler to add. both are factory originals, not repo's. Big decision is either Honeycomb or Rally II's in 17" or 18". If you are looking for some comedy relief, check out my Instagram account as 'Ricks Rental Review' . I pick on most of the rental cars I drive. I travel frequently for work so I get the opportunity to drive various new rental cars.
