As a Economics/political sciences major, the undeniable TRUTH is the United States that I and the poor fool “pulling the union rope” grew up in is dead. Market freedom was brought down by Government regulation. Worker’s rights which were championed by UNIONS were brought under control by Government regulations. The Union leaders have worked diligently with the new Democrat (communist) Party to construct the “NEW WORLD ORDER”. That is… all peoples of the world have income of some kind ie…Government subsidized, employed by a Government agency handing out the subsidiaries, or working in a Government regulated industry paying for the Government subsidiaries. The Health care industry was the last bastion of “open market place”structure until OBAMACARE was “FORCED” on the American public. Now we are the disillusioned union workers your communicating with. To your daughter, she would be better off at a private school teaching, so she would make good money and wouldn't have to worry. Donuts...really yes because that is exactly what I was talking about. The overseas part is about the manufacturing not the police officers or firefighters, plus they can keep their jobs, if a man or woman puts their life on the line then they should be getting a lot more than what they are in my opinion. Quit spinning words and turning them upside down like your liberal news station ABC, CNN, hell honestly it seems like you watch MSLSD (MSNBC) with all the looneys like Sharpton and Maddow. Do you not remember the Carter Administration under the disguise of “we depend on too much foreign oil, we have to make our cars more fuel efficient, we have to tighten our belts…” same stuff they spew now. Blindly we followed our Union bosses and look where it got us, the muscle car nearly died and is going to again permanently soon. Read the Constitution, grasp it and figure out what's truly more important to you, inalienable rights or a person/administration telling you what to do and how to do it.

Fact is the union ships more jobs overseas than the private sector, so jobs lost, and yes sending jobs overseas is good for the economy, but to an extent. The unions take dues and rack them up giving them to their political party leaders the socialist/Marxist democrats who need them. They feed lies to the people and are acting like thugs. This is a great point of how the unions want to take away the RIGHTS of the PEOPLE. The fact that the union thugs tore down the Americans for Prosperity tent is a prime example of how our freedom of speech is being taken away. Why not have the freedom to decide whether you should be part of the union or not. This is a classic example of how our rights are being taken away. If you want a job that requires a union and you do not want to join them, then guess what, you don't get the job. This law takes that away and further more the 7 states with the lowest unemployment are all Right to Work states. There is competition, which is what a capitalist society strives off of. The unions want to be the monopoly, they basically are the invisible monopoly and want complete control, this bill takes that away and more private sector jobs will come right on in and create jobs. Here's an example, in Northern VA, art teachers get paid 70-73,000 a year....WTF a damn art teacher does not need to make that much let alone 50,000 teaching 5th graders how to make a clay bowl. A teacher goes to school knowing they are not going to be paid a whole lot, they want their summers off and a a somewhat easy going job. That money comes out of our pockets and that is where the democratic party strives off of the union. Their is so much legislation and regulations from the government to make the safety regulations, and most are outrageous and do nothing but make people pay more taxes. The unions have nothing to do with all the safety, it's the government regulations. The unions are not needed anymore they have overstayed their welcome. If you want unions run by the government, go to China, North Korea or any other communist country and live over there for a month, hell i'll buy your plane ticket, this isn't freedom, this is regulation strangulation of the Constitution.

You just don't have to pay the dues, you have the right to either be part of the union or not. In states with the right the work legislation, the unemployment is the lowest and the worker has the right to choose. the unions have to compete with the private sector and that is why it is a big deal. On a personal note, the unions have way too much power especially in politics and way too much money, back in the day the union was worth having, but now they are out of date and and in it for the money and power. Unions are not needed anymore with all of the laws and legislation in place, the employee is protected....does that answer your question?
