  1. Forever Pontiac is opened to Vendors/Sponsors. If you have a Pontiac car related product and want to improve your sales contact Ringo64 to become a Vendor. Also to become a sponsor please contact Ringo64!

Benefits are very vast at becoming a Vendor or Sponsor. Attract new customers related to your product and boost sales! Also becoming a Vendor you get your own thread to discuss your product, what sales you are offering Forever Pontiac and other information about your business and product!!

  2. haha I still technically own my first car (The '95 Monte Carlo). It just sits in the driveway and gets driven by my dad every once and a while. Not really saying much because I've only own 2 cars :)

  3. Yeah, as long as I can have my FDM thread here & my sig, I won't delete the Forever Pontiac thread on FDM. LoL.

I'm gonna go set up my laptop and get started on some icon/graphic stuff for this forum.

Hmmm, I don't see this as a problem, but that's up to Ringo64, as he's the owner and Site Admin of the site... to me, it just goes out to show how many other forums are dedicated to remember the Pontiac name ;)

I don't see a problem with it as long as you stick around and post! lol. Pretty soon I'll be creating a forum for advertising various Pontiac/GM websites or forums that either support us or the user has x amount of posts.

  4. No I remember the guys on the other forum saying something bout the limitations of the the coding, how another coding, don't know the name of it, could give you like garages and other nifty stuff

I'm confused your gonna have to link me me or show me. PHP is really the most dynamic language for websites now a days. There's FLASH but that's created using an Adobe program and in it you can do some interesting things but you usually don't use it on forums.

  5. Yeah, I thought something similar, I was like WTF, did I get deleted? But at least now we have the domain now, curious, but what are we using on this forum? PHP or what? And are we going to be limited like we are on G6P?

PHP is the language this is coded in, Inivsion Power Board is the name of the forum. What do you mean by limited? Bandwidth and space wise no.

  6. That's not bad at all! So how did you get them to sew it on, did you remove the leather from the head rests and back seat?

They actually did that all, I took the car in asked, how much would this be. Gave me a quote. I took the headrests out and they took the leather off the headrests then the backseat leather. I was originally going to do the backseat headrests but they convinced me to do the middle. I was kinda nervous with them maybe ruining the leather but nope they did a perfect job! I did this back when I first bought the car cause I saw it on the way back from the dealership B)

  8. It's np at all, like I said, the wife and I have decided to support the forum financially, so expect another donation around the 1st B)

Oh yay!!!! Once I am finished re-adding everything you'll get a nice supporting member image and status!!

  9. Well I hit a major complication in moving the forum from the previous server to the new one. The story short is I was the last server on FDCservers (old host) before we moved to Foxcore Hosting (My cousins and mine company) and the lovely people over at FDCservers apparently wanted their money and left us with a parting gift of the SQL database going down and being as nice as they are restored it to when nobody was registered and no topics were posted!!!!!! Now this is a big deal but they seem to not be budging at all on the issue and claim it was "not intended" and the data was "corrupted." I don't want to sound like a poor sport and data does get lost and corrupted but at our company we wouldn't just say sorry and forget you your moving anyway.

Anywho I know this looks and sounds bad but it really allows for more improvement it if you think about it! Everybody is still on staff who was, you will have to re-register, re-post and just overall go through everything which I extremely do apologize!! I hope you all do not get turned away from this and hopefully within the next couple days everything will be back to normal and have everything back. I know I'll be on all day so if you have any questions or comments please do not hesitate to ask!

Now Finally after all that horrible news we move on to the good news! We have a domain and everybody who was encountering issues should be able to on now at work!! I do not encourage being on at work but I know some of you wanted to check this while in down time! Hopefully you all can get on since this is a new domain and should have no issues as the old one!

Remember please re-register and bare with us while we get everything back to normal!!

  10. Due to the nature of the part of this forum and potential scamming opportunities of our members we please ask that you pertain to all of these rules or your thread will be deleted and you will have a chance at being banned.

    • Please use the corresponding abbreviations prefixed to your topic title to designate what you are doing:
      • FS: for items For Sale
      • WTT: for items you Want To Trade
      • WTB: for items you Want To Buy
    • Do not scam your fellow members if the item is worth $10 don't sell it for $30!
    • You must include a picture of your item, NO STOCK PICTURES (IE a picture you see on the manufacturers website), it MUST be a picture you took.
    • Use common sense if the price is too good to be true, it usually is.
    • Buyer and seller, always exchange information regarding contacting each other as YOU are responsible to contact each other, find out each others addresses, and make sure everything goes smoothly.
    • If you have an issue with the buyer/seller please take it to PM or PM us, as it is RUDE and will hurt the sellers chance to sell the item if you comment on the thread without hearing from the seller.
    • Admins and mods reserve the right to remove, move, or lock your topic for disobeying these rules.
    • Vendors are businesses here with given consent to sell their product to us by the Forever Pontiac staff.

NOTE: Forever Pontiac provides the avenue for sellers and buyers to list items on our website, however, we do not and will not take responsibility for any part of buying/selling process. Using this forum you agree to indemnify Forever Pontiac of all liability.
