I have a company up the road I am going to approach for springs for my 6. I understand, you tell them what you want and they wrap them up for about $80 a pair.

So, I've been debating asking to borrow someone's factory take-offs, take them up there, and say I want them 1.5in lower.

Ok I have never ordered from here never even attempted ordering "universal" springs...I have had good experience with Skunk2 products in my SI. Any one comments on if I should...It looks like you order based off heigth and width of the spring.

Universall Torrent Lowering Springs

All I did to get an inch lower was to change the tire size from factory to 225/60 R17's. The only difference I can notice is the speedo being about 2 MPH off. Here is a picture of mine.
