Ignore the dust, we had a front blow through the other day while I was parked at work. Plenty of dust for everybody when a front blows through the Texas panhandle...

which one, the rex or the bird?

The bird...

it was my first car... i bought a 1989 bird in 1998 for 120 because it had a broken camshaft. other than that it was perfect....

that 2.0 is a brazilian motor and the berrings are differnet and they are a BITCH to locate (back then it was)

i blew that effer up 2x (spun rods)

Crashed it 3x ( 1 time trying to be fast and furious on a winding road crushed a box curb, 1 Chase Bank Sign.. and bumped some lady at less than idle)

lost my virginity

first system

first road head

first oh so much

sorry... back on topic....

the sunbird 2.0 has like the tiniest throttle body of all time

indeed it does! i was looking around for another GM TB that is bigger that would bolt up. the hole in the intake is already a bit bigger than the TB bore diameter. this intake is also MAD ported (if you havent already seen in my progression thread) and the TB has been polished a bit. HUGE boost in powa!

and for you sir...

all these are in my progression thread... you should check it out im sure you'd like it very much. did you notice my relocation of the coil? besides the intake porting its the best mod yet

Fuel Rail Covers were the first thing I had done in 2002. From there I added some acrylic mirrored pieces to the underside of the hood. Added some polished covers for the PCM, fuse boxes and battery. Most recently was finally adding the air lid which I painted myself to get the look I wanted. Added various production number decals and an LS1 head plate and some chrome wire loom for the shows.

Thanks for all the kind comments guys. You know how it is...always a work in progress. You add something you take something away.

Crimson, dude...I about fell outta my chair laughing when I saw that pic.

Killiger,

The T/A came with a completely bare LS1. No nothing to it as far as looks. I felt the need to dress the engine to the outlandish degree to go with the exterior of the car. After all, Trans Am has always been about, "hey look at me!" haha
