GTO hood on a lemans

Featured Replies

Just bought a 70 Lemans SE convertible that has the GTO hood, I've seen pics online with and without this hood, I've seen different info one source says you could order the sport with the hood  another one says you couldn't, does anyone know for sure? thanks

I am not aware of a way to order a ‘70 GTO hood on a ‘70 Lemans convertible from the factory. A dealer might have swapped hoods like that back in the day though. Clearly the ‘70 GTO hood will fit the ‘70 Lemans front sheet metal just fine.

In ‘72, you could get the Lemans Sport convertible with the GTO front clip. I know because I own one. The entire endura front clip and hood was an option in ‘72.
