Good looking 6!

I kinda like the plaid engine cover, unique.

Good looking rims, not a fan of 20's but they do look good.

Get some tint on her, I'm sure during the winter months now you'll be able to find a steal on tint :P

anywho  too!

Very nice and welcome to foreverpontiac!

I had to get rid of the plaid,The hood liner clips let go in a couple places and rubbed threw the paint. Winter time I'm doing a few projects to her, I wanna win a couple more trophy's lol. The rims I got at a shop called Autostyling in Niagara Falls. I got them for a steal 1400 or so

very nice car. glad to see you got over here safely

welcome!

Sweet new pics! Welcome!

welcome to FP!

Welcome! I'm looking forward to the '09.5 pieces. :lol2:

Interesting G6. Needs a drop like whoa.

Getting the 09.5 bumpers, I like. Paint match the mirrors too.

Engine cover? Bah, lose it. They're only good for collecting dirt, and trapping sand and dirt on top, and all around the UIM and LIM. The LX9 looks better without it.

Welcome! I'm kinda glad the plaid is gone, not gonna lie, but I do like the uniqueness. I'm looking forward to seeing the future of this car. :lol2:

woohoo u made it

welcometothetribe-1.gif I remember that car, hey man. :agreed:

^ the look i'm going for

wow i cant wait to see that setup! looks great!!!!!

That's really low.

You going with coilovers, or airbags?

You gotta take how that's going to effect the car's suspension and steering geometry. Camber bolts are obviously going to be needed to correct the negative camber that will result from making the suspension that low. To boot, it's going to be hell on the ball joints and tie rods. If you go too low, the CV axles will bow upwards, rather than downwards (like they were designed to be) and it'll burn out the axleshafts and differential inside the trans.

The look is cool, don't get me wrong...but not as a DD. My buddy has a stanced Mazda3, and the car is starting to just fall apart from being so low ALL the time. The ride is horrible, the car scrapes EVERYTHING, and he can't even lift it to do a simple oil change.

i liked that pic ever since i first saw it. i want mine that low too, but im thinking custom air ride to be able to bring it back up.

Would look sweet but not functional.

Only conceivable way would be bags. IMO using springs and adjusting just wouldn't be worth the hassle with all the damage.

  • Author

the plan was to go bags, I still might in the future. The plan was to stance out the g6 with air bags and wider wheels. The wheels I was looking at were per corner was the amount I got my whole set of wheels and tires for

I think air bags would be real slick on there. My buddy has a Park Ave on bags that I am totally in love with.

really? what rims were they?
