Buick/Jeep V6 History Lesson

A nice Buick/Jeep V6 history lesson from Steve Magnante. What he doesn't say is that the T-type/Grand National motor (231) would become the 3800 (3.8L) series I and series II 3.8L and supercharged 3.8L engines that continued until 2007. I worked and  supported the Flint V6 Engine plant in those last few days. I was there the day the last V6 was produced in August 2007. All the plant employees signed the last engine off the line. It was a solemn day to be sure. Today, the plant itself has been torn down. It is a cement pad with weeds and trees growing out of it. Sad ending in some ways.
