1970 Pontiac GTO Judge Ram Air iii Engine, Transmission, and Differential Rebuild

Featured Replies

Hey there Guys,

I have a 1970 Pontiac GTO Judge Ram Air iii w/ a Muncie M-20 four speed transmission. Am looking for recommendations / suggestions for a reputable Pontiac Engine builders to have a factory engine over haul, transmission rebuild, and differential rebuild. I live in South Louisiana and would like to know of someone in the Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi area and or the southeastern section of the U.S.

Thanks in advance,

I would say that the premiere Pontiac engine builder is Butler Performance in Lawrenceburg Tennessee. But I suspect that is too far away for you. They are almost 600 miles one way for you.

Nitemare Performance is based out of North Haven CT.

Len Williams in Bristow OK - http://lenwilliamsautomachine.com/Home.html

There are more but they are even further away than Butler and Williams.

I would suspect that you have reputable engine builders in your area that do all sorts of engines, including Pontiacs as well. Perhaps other forum members have engine builder experience in your area.

Thanks Frosty. I've researched this some what I have seen where Butler Performance does Pontiac engine rebuilds. I think I may call them to see exactly what I'm looking at and what is all involved, 😀 👍

I will Frosty for sure. I e-mailed Butler Performance late last week on my situation and what I was looking for. Hopefully I'll hear from them soon and I can make a discussion.
