Recently replaced stainless steel exhaust from cat converter back,  511dollars.  Had done at Mavis Discount tiree.  Was this good or bad.  It does gave an asome sound not out of the 2.4 ecotech.

I'd say you are about on par. Most stainless cat-back systems I priced for your car run close to $400 plus shipping and handling. Adding another $100+ for removal, installation, and tax - it does not sound all that unreasonable to me.
