lost and confused

the build sheet for my 1968 bonneville said 428 so i thought the engine was origonal i was wrong its a an xy code 67 400 with 1969 #47 heads erson cam 308 duration 469 intake 496 exhuast cam card was in glovebox stock intake numbers on carb say 1970 buick timing and or plug wires are a problem started one time ran for a few seconds then my lack of being a mechanic screwed every thing up distributor 180 out??? plug wires wrong??? and what kind of power can i expect if ibring this 68 bonneville back from the dead/sat beside a barn for 30 years😮
