Greetings from norway. My father in law just purcased a pontiac, we think it is a 1935 model, it has the motornumber 8-9989. He cant seem to find the vin number, do anybody know where to find it?  Do we have to take of the front fender to find it?

Yes you will most like need to do that. According to the attached sheet, it is located on top of the frame, just ahead of the steering gear bracket.
