Hey y'all!

I picked up a 2002 Sunfire to use as a beater over the winter and I would really appreciate the experts opinions on this before I start working on it. I'm going to code scan it later, but for right now here are the symptoms:

Check Engine Light is on.

Shaking at idle - rpm needle bounces between 500-700 during these episodes.

No abnormal smells so far as I can tell.

Otherwise drives just fine in both city and highway conditions, and fuel economy seems okay.

Any of you seasoned vets have helpful tips?

Getting the code pulled is probably the best thing to do. A lot of reasons for a rough idling engine, narrowing it down helps a lot.
