    • I received my touch up bottle of Plum Crazy Purple paint and my skip shift eliminator from SpeedLogix for Violet in the mail today. It should only take 5-10 minutes to unplug the sensor on top of the transmission, put the eliminator in between the plugs and zip tie it in place. I suspect I’ll send more time jacking up the car and putting jack stands under it than the actual install.
    • We’re all good here. Aged 20 years from stress but about the only damage. Got really lucky things went the way they did. Hope everyone else in Florida fared well!
    • As a society we seem to be more concerned about hurting certain group's collective feelings. Comedy, in my opinion, is to make satire of every day life and point out it's absurdities. There is too much political correctness and not enough "it's comedy - let it go" in this world.   RIngo mentioned he and the boss were riding it out. As I write this, Milton is about to exit the east side of Florida and head out to sea. He things he is far enough inland to avoid the storm surge. Biggest threat is downed power lines and falling trees according to him. Obviosuly we are thinking of him, Del. and all of our other  Florida-based FP friends, as this storm heads on out.   More from Professor Bundy.....
    • Hi, I lost my key for a few months.  The car was in anti theft mode for some time.  In the meantime... there was a relearn done with no key,  my whole dash was torn apart and someone tore the anti theft ring off my ignition. I got to the ignition finally out. So the anti theft ring could be re soldered to the circuit board. Then put back together.  Also at one point my friend tried to get it started while in anti theft mode. He took the panel off the driver's door and acted like he had unlocked it with a key.  The message on the screen didn't have the disabled message and he spliced into the starter wire to hot wire it. We stopped at that point and now I have the key back.  Also it had been towed a couple times and one time being around forty miles in neutral. The starter will not work by turning the key any more but I have had it started a few times.  Now it isn't starting again.  Last night it flashed a message saying"reduced engine power" I drove it today to where I'm sitting now and it won't start again.  Do you know what is causing this?
