  1. So i just ordered the green leds for the interior so as soon as i get them installed i will post picks.  I also purchased the intense racing modular pulley system with a 3.5 pulley so hopefully i will be able to get all of this installed before spring.

  2. So it has been a while but I have had a busy summer with the compg.  List so far is:

New headlights, NKG Plugs, Street fire wires,  180* t-stat, new kicker speakers all around. kicker amp and subs, new head unit,  CAI, coolant flush and clean. Overkill PCM Tune.  Kumho Platinum Ecsta tires with sport tune wheels.  Drilled and Slotted Break Performance breaks.

I got creative and did some aesthetic work under the hood.

Using the help of my wife because I cannot paint to save my life (i just cleaned the parts) We used Dupont's Metalcast paint.  I love how it turned out and if any decides to do this is is Oil resistant and can take a lot of heat.  I recommend it.

Now it seems my transmission is bad and have no third.  So I am planning on getting the Stage One 4t65e from tripleedgeperformance.com.

Next on the list is a smaller supercharger pulley. just want to replace trans first, since this is my daily.

  3. dex and gm had a "deal" where they recommend only this product but you can use whatever for the most part. I don't ever recommend dexcool and never put it in. It has been linked with eating gaskets in the block and destroying other parts as well. When air mixes with the hot dex it becomes acidic. You can use it but flush and clean very often. Personally I use peak performance 50/50.

  4. Thank you frosty.  I did indeed unplug the the harness and cleaned them out and now it is intermintent, so i think the sensors may be loose or possibly bad.

Also i ended up buying a new pcm from Will at Overkill and i must say I freaking love it.  The throttle response in amazing, engine stays much cooler,  a much better ride overall.  I definetly recomend this pcm.

  5. not sure i dont believe they came with passlock in the early months of 97 but 98 does have them.  If i remember correctly that shouldnt make a difference since i had to replace my steering columm i used a 97 columm on a 98 and didnt make a difference ( no relearn or flash required) .  I would try a gm ignition but i really dont think it will help.

  6. i have a tech question for ya, about 2weeks ago i lost third gear. I dropped the pan and everything was clean no metal shavings fluid looked new. Now today after work I started my car and my DIC said "service abs, no traction control, no stability control, and no steering assist. I took it to Orilleys to have them scan the pcm. It said tcm read error, bcm read error, speed sensor error, and some others things. I get the feeling that my pcm is bad. It is a 04 grand prix gtp comp g with 75k miles. What are your thoughts folks. Thank you

  7. I can fully agree with it. Dodge has made some pretty powerful tire shredders in the past and now with the hellcat. I am very impressed. But as long as there are arrow heads on the road we will remain the excitement. Hopefully gm will see that they are screwing up.
