I see now. I was dead set on having sub 50k miles. Plus I have a warranty to 100k. Don't think it'll be usable lol but just in case its there

Nice goat. I'm jealous. Silver is my favorite color.. I got stuck in a red one but its cool...
Boo to the auto lol. Stick is sooo much more fun.
How much was urs if u don't mind. Mine was 18k for an 05 with 43k. I feel like I got robbed but its all good.

lol im not doin all that. only thing id do is the sap front bumper but i really want to do power first this time. with my cobalt i did exterior moreso than performance
-
Sounds good. I have the Magnaflow exhaust with X pipe too but I have the Kooks 1 7/8s and they are nice.
You should take a look at those or at least watch my video on youtube to hear it.
I've heard it. Sounds really good. I'm just going the most affordable route I can.

Here's what I plan to do for this yr. Hopefully I can scrounge all the cash up for it cuz its gonna be pricey.
Intake- K&N- got it
Longtube headers-pacesetter coated
Mid pipes-pace setter
Car Has magnaflow catback already with the x pipe.
Mild cam package. I want one that's mild but will give me some mid to topend power.
Currently have 3 options among local shops. Lethal, nelson, and noribilt.
Lethal- would be getting me a well known cam that I've seen nothing but goood reviews on. Tx speed torquer v2 cam
Nelson- custom grinding me one to hit the level I want.
Noribilt-access to custom grinds and a shop I frequent so its people I trust. They'd be using an lsx tuner that makes the custom grinds.
Nelson and lethal are same price and another friend had good results with his cam setup from nelson so I'm liking their potential.
Will update once I get a price from noribilt cuz that will be my deciding factor.
Besides this stuff mods will be
Short throw shifter
Line locker setup
Slotted front and rear rotors
New struts and shocks and springs with a .5" drop to the front
Swaybars
All new bushings
Custom painted fuel rail covers
Jhp spoiler
Full paintjob. (Similar to the cobalt) seen it on a goat and it looks pretty good.
I'm thinking ill get everything done this yr up to the suspension
Will get pics of the car asap. Cleaned it yesterday and it rained today

alright here's the plan
buying a new era custom grind from a friend in htown that had it on his g8 gt.. guy put down 413 whp tuning it himself wheras he made 330 whp stock. he had a vararam intake, the cam, pace setter lts and a borla exhaust and x pipe
i got a k&n intake this week, ill be ordering pac springs, tx speed pushrods, pace setter lt's as well, and i already have an x pipe and magnaflow exhaust. ill be getting a dynotune from my fab shop i frequent.
reason the guy is selling the cam is cuz hes going more aggressive with the cam and hes getting a heads, a new intake, and a ported tb

$600? I'd stretch that budget if I were you. 18"s are better suited for the GTO, and to boot, the bolt pattern isn't cheap to come by, since it's common with many German cars. You're looking at above $700 for a decent set of used wheels. New will be above $1000. With these cars, you gotta pay to play.
i got a set of $1000 wheels for 400 for my last car. seriously its no big deal.
being apart of my car club i get access to very good discounts.
i dont expect to pay more than that for em.

gonna be driving by the fab shop that helped me with the turbo setup for my cobalt.. later on this week...getting estimates on a full turbo setup whether it be rear mount or front mount.
if its reasonable like i expect it to be. ill only be doing light light boltons and building the suspension and braking and exterior appearance stuff until i save up enough to do a forged install for the motor and the turbo install
i think some jba shorties, catless stock mids, tune and a short throw will keep me happy till i finish the other stuff.

sorry im having cptn and cokes in rapid usuccession.
WHAT is the budget. i still vote CCw's. they are the TITITTITITITITTTTS!
ps before i started drinking i drove through 3 inches of snow for 20 miles in the GTO. no t easy.
im not huge on having big wheels. id be satisfied with a good looking 17. maybe 18 at best but the car has brand new tires on it so i dont want to waste them. as far as budget, i dont wanna go over 600. ive got alot of guys who have access to discounts so i usually get whatevers in the price range on discount.
-
i like ur car alot but im not feelin the purple balt wheels.
-
lol my local club members are making fun of those tsws cuz "rwd is supposed to have deep dish or staggered rims"
fk em. lol
i like the tsws.
-
dang..dude on gto forum wants to trade me for some chrome tsw mondellos... they look nice but im concerned of the weight. its not a bad looking wheel and i could always get em changed to black .
-

thats kinda wut im going for. but i like less spokes. either a 5 or a split 5.
since i may be goin with a satin black roof, trunk and center hood portion im trying to decide wut wheels will look best.
-
they arent the only ones out there tho, plenty of rims to choose from. just gonna take my time and get the ones i like best.
-
i dont really like the look of that wheel for the gto
-
lol these are nuts
-
i do want black wheels but i want some that are lighter weight than the stocks.
-
