  1. Sweet, yea I'm really considering doing the same thing. Let us know if there's a noticeable difference before/after :D

i already know its gonna do something lol

i promise there will be differences. get it tuned too. pacesetters all the way baby!

oh definitely. wouldnt have bought them if not.. tune is probably going in as soon as the clutch is broken in

  2. :(

    haha glad u like

    lucky bastard

thank u. lol.. those ss/tc wheels look GREAT on ur g6

    Very nice!

    gracias

to the last person. ya theyre pace setters. theyre the coated tho. got some locals that have had the coated ones for yrs without issue.

also, still waiting on my monster lvl 3 clutch to arrive as well as my mgw-p shifter. after that, it all goes in and i get a quick tune.

  3. lol interesting post... i consider myself a pretty good driver. this car is just not like my other ones. with clutch and a short throw in my other car i never had any missed gear issues. with this one. 3rd feels like im hitting a wall. but im told its a clutch/shifter issue. i ordered the parts to take care of it. so ill soon see how my car really does...

  4. I pray that neither of you are serious. this is of course talking straight line performance. in no way are autos made for an auto X course. 1/4 mile on the other hand, auto wins.

stick:clutch out, gas in (end gear), gas out, clutch in, shift with your human arm, clutch out, gas in

auto: gas to the mofo floor and computer shifts in milliseconds and also NEVER misses a shift.

no such thing as "ah shit i missed 3rd" with an auto.

autos also usually put down less power. coming from sport compacts.. the standards always had faster times than the autos.

  5. So i went out and i got 9007 Hi/Lo HIDs from DDM and i cant figure how to get the bulb to secure in to the housing. the round "lock" that holds in the factory lights will not fit around the light it self.

I am asking help from people who have installed the 9007 HID Hi.Lo in j-body cars to give me guidance.

have u looked for any of the writeups on jbody.org?
