  1. I'm currently using my pool cover pump to keep the trap in the basement floor from filling with water. It is seeping into it from under the foundation of the house. The pump is manual so I have to turn it on and off as needed. Its not strong enough to pump the water from the basement out the window which is about a 6 foot lift so I'm pumping into the washing machine and putting it on spin cycle to empty it when it gets filled. I'll probably be doing this all night. I went to Home Depot to see if they had any sump pumps but got laughed out of the store. I was told all the sump pumps (automatic shutoff) and generators were gone by noon today :agreed:

  2. Thanks for all the warm welcomes ;)

Currently I'm bailing water out of my basement. It usually doesn't have water problems but we have had over 4 inches of wind driven rain with 55+ MPH winds all day with no let up in site. We had wires down (telephone) right in front of my house and a tree down on a neighbors house a few houses away. WHAT A DAY :agreed:

  3. looks good. my dad had a 1990 grand am gt h/o with a 5 speed and a quad 4. very quick little cars. my dad pulled on 5.0 stangs with his.

My son, Coolmanvette beat me to the story!!! The Quad4 is one bitchen motor but the early ones, 1989 and 1990, used to eat head gaskets. I'll never forget the look on the mustang drivers face after I pulled him and he caught up to me at the next red light.

Good luck with your build :welcomeFP:

  4. As of tonight (Friday), the authorities are questioning the background of the guy making the claim. They say he has filed for bankruptcy and owes $860K and has a questionable background.

The Highway Patrol officer is backing the guy though saying he smelled the brakes burning as the guy tried to stop the Prius!?!?!?

  5. Interesting... good idea but like the real bike till everyone has one then it will be like China and your back at square one lol

Its one of those products that solve an issue but to keep the issue solved you don't want everyone to have one B)

When you see the proposed pricng for the USA, $4450.00, that will keep most folks from getting one....LOL...
