Now that the 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 has been fully revealed, its 640-hp supercharged V-8 detailed, and our interest in the car fully piqued, all that’s left to do is drive the mighty ‘Maro, right? Exactly, only Chevrolet is not done teasing yet, having just released a new video of a ZL1 prototype snarling around the Spring Mountain racetrack outside of Las Vegas.

But wait, you might be thinking, didn’t Chevrolet already release such a video? Technically, yes, but it was brief and didn’t show the entire ZL1. This new video is like the extended cut, one that shows the car itself circling Spring Mountain and making gratuitous supercharged V-8 noises. The earlier video was shot entirely from behind the ZL1’s grille, a cool point-of-view concept but one where you can’t see the car itself. Chevrolet’s newer ZL1 clip also features GM’s product development boss Mark Reuss, one of our auto executives of the year, discussing the ZL1’s performance while demonstrating strong tucked-in T-shirt game, so there’s that.
