Stereo separation.

I have a 2009 G8GT with a Blauplunkt audio system.I am getting no stereo separation ,I checked with Sirius-xm they said everything looked okay, any ideas? I heard on another forum that speakers could be out of phase,how could that have been shipped from the factory that way?
