shocks & struts!

Featured Replies

Been helping my buddy install parts to his eclipse when I thought to myself... " hmm what are the chances of me finding a nice set of shocks and struts to drop my torrent an inch or two?"

What you guys think? Know any good sites for me to try or is it just wishful thinking.

P.s. off topic. are there any cons to installing a jet maf sensor to my cold intake?

Thanks bunches for your time :)

that would look nice and JET is the biggest waste of moeny its crack and ull throw codes get a grantelli from summit racing and let us kno what u think of it

i got this off another site, I'm also interested in dropping my Torrent

I have an 06 AWD V6 and was not happy with the handling, especially after driving my sister-in-laws redline. When my strut mounts started clunking I took the opportunity to replace my struts, shocks, and springs at the same time. I had no luck locating aftermarket springs and only found Monroe and KYB shocks available.

Turns out the redline springs fit my Vue just fine. They lowered the car 1", but improved the ride. I went with KYB GR-2 struts and shocks and am happy with them. Firm without being abrupt.

Only problem I ran into was the KYB strut mounts did not work on my Vue. Bearing is actually mounted to a different part. Had to go with the OEM mounts even though it's a known problem part.
