80 Trans Am Turbo Ignition

Featured Replies

Hello All,

New to the forum and have a question about the HEI ignition on my recently purchased Turbo car. I bought the car and previous owner said that the original control module for the knock sensor is missing. Also, said that it is tied into the HEI distributor. He provided a 4 pin module but said that I would need to pick up coil off a 77-79 301/400 and a capacitor.

Anyone have more specific details on what I'm missing and what I need. I'd like to get this engine running again.

Thanks in advance for any help.
