Jet Sizes for 462 with Holley 750 DP 4165

Featured Replies

Hey all,

I have a 1970 LeMans with a 462 pontiac engine, with a Holley 750 DP (model 4165) on it. It seems to bog a bit at WOT, so I'm thinking of jetting up the secondaries, but don't know what values to go with.

Currently have 059 primary jets and 060 secondary jets. I'm thinking the secondary jets should be a lot bigger since the secondary throttle plates are much larger than the primaries.

I believe this carburetor was originally on a 350, which may be why it's under jetted.

Any tips?

Thanks!

I may just buy a new carb for it and not worry about it. Thinking of a 4150 or a 4160, or maybe a demon 750
