nice job man! keep up the good work!

whats the max boost u pushin right now? any details on how much hp at the wheels you puttin down now?

Thanks! :(

It's at 7psi right now, but the ECM wont let the MAF read beyond a certain resolution, so after a certain point it's like walking blindfold through a mine field blindfolded. So I need to either flash a Cobalt 2.4 operating system to the existing computer, or re-pin a Cobalt computer to plug into the harness. Either way a bitch.

As far as horsepower I have no idea, haven't dyno'd it yet

Tell them about your tuning disaster

:( you have an "under hood" section but no "under car"? still stock exhaust? do the rims still have the Chevy emblem on them?

Tell them about your tuning disaster

Don't remind me lol

Quick rundown of what's been going on...

-Heard about a guy in STL that a lot of people recommended, and was supposed to be super awesome at tuning FWD GM stuff.

-He was in our area and tuned on it a little bit, we were pleased with the results thus far and agreed to meet him in STL to finish tuning after we get a few things lined out.

-About a month passes and we finally get around to driving up there.

-Spend an entire day tuning this thing and he couldn't figure shit out this time, not to mention he's still hammering on it while he's confused as to why the car was pulling several degrees of timing. I don't know about you, but I wouldn't be balls deep in something when idk why/what's going on.

-By the end of the day it's obvious this guy is a retard so we call it quits.

-Upon returning to Springfield the car reduces it's power and goes into limp mode (wtf?!), so we take it to the guy who originally tuned it the first time here in town.

-He pulls the tune and the timing was advanced 8 degrees! At this point I'm so goddamn pissed, also wondering how the car survived that much abuse.

-Now the car is drinking coolant, and the oil is low(no mixing though). I'd assume a head gasket, but still have to do some diag.

you have an "under hood" section but no "under car"? still stock exhaust?

It had the stock exhaust on it for a little bit, it's been open downpipe for a while now (loud)

The MAF has plenty of resolution left, the problem is the ECM not letting it read that far. All the translator would allow me to do is use a different one. Hopefully this hurdle can be cleared without going to full stand alone. :D

thats friggin odd. lol. they don't sell a piggy back for your car? sounds like you might have to go stand alone to me though.

Amazing simply amazing! Some people may not realize this but even though it is the 2.4L, this is probably one of 3 or 4 turbo'd G6s and is probably the best. Everyone else has failed horribly upon the tuning stage.

I still want to see the LX9 or LZ4 turbo'd correctly.

Great job!!!!

Thanks guys, hopefully this tuning issue is the last trial. After that comes bottom end & trans parts.
