Am i correct (?) in my thinking that i can simply delete the distribution box in my 69 and plumb in the proportion valve that mounts under my master cyclinder? The pv does have a brake signal, and the Master IS a duel chamber. Thanks for any replies😎

Distributor identification
Derslayer1 replied to Derslayer1's topic in Pontiac General Discussion/Questions
Correct Frosty, it did Not, and yes it is the original 400 in it. With no other markings on this dist, i had no idea if it was a cardone or delco or what. Thx for the reply. Im bored 30 over on the rebuild, and will def be gettin a new Distributor just not sure which one yet. Thanks again Sir' -
69 lemans 400ci eng. The owner before me had an HEI distributor on this engine. Im having a hard time identifying the distributor. Numbers are 6G13 which i believe is 1976 july 13th. The seven digit is 1103272. What info i can find on that 7digit is for a 78' 301ci eng but im not sure. I cant tell if its a cardone or what, no other markings. Can any Pontiaddict out there help, thanx in advance.

Thanx Kiwi, i installed the moogs, without a problem. The spicer difference is for cars with the "ears" at the yolk for holding the joint in. My 69 does not have those ears. Clips work fine. Thx for the reply

quick question... replacing universals in my 69. Moog says 534g for both the rear and front yoke. But spicer says they are different. Im going to put the moogs in but figger i would ask first. --->400ci 6.6 with 4barrel...thanks for any reply!

howdy, i cannot find any info on these. The outers are on the car, im looking for the Rubber that goes on them, with or without the clips. If i have to, i would MAKE the rubbers that would mount there. Any help on these is appreciated. Im adding a pic of the outers, they are not mine bcuz mine are on the car. Its just a reference pic . Thanks guys
