  1. I could use a hand finding some carb kits. My friend is helping me work on my car, he got me a master cylinder for christmas and I'm gonna put tires on the car so it's not sitting on blocks all winter, we're gonna borrow my friend's ultrasonic cleaner and clean my carburetor all the way and thoroughly, then my friend is gonna reassemble it and we're gonna try to fire it up

  2. I took the carburetor apart, did make sure to take many pics of it, though wrestling the linkages isn't easy. it was gunky on the bottom but nothing looked wrong with it, nothing leaked when I put carb cleaner to it so the seal is really confusing on what exactly is leaking. Just heard from the guy with the carbs, gonna get some pictures. will share with here to see if any will work.

  3. it has a rochester 2 jet. And the gas coming into the tank is nice, clean and not that old, it's maybe 5 weeks old and not that yellow. Unless it's not gas that's coming out but it is clean. and the residual water in the bottle settled to the bottom. So It's definitely a carburetor issue, and maybe some electrical but it's just weird for it to run then fail while idling

  4. I forgot to mention there was soot on the plug. my overtired head had touched the end of the plug. I'll go pull another one then get a pic without touching it. Not pulling them all atm as it's cold and the passenger side is a pain with the AC bracket and all the stuff for ac in the way. People on the facebook group have said that the carb weeping could be an issue with fueling. if that's the case then why did it die randomly when running fantastically?
