  1. This is a picture of our 65 GTO that was taken in San Jose California at the San Jose Firefighters car show a few years ago.
  2. I am converting my gto from the original 2 speed automatic to a muncie m20 4 speed. I ordered the correct pilot bearing for my car and it does not seem to fit the crank. It seems like it may be just slightly larger that the hole in the crank. Can anyone let me know if this is common or if there is a procedure for installing this bearing. This is my first time doing it. Thank you for any help you can offer. Steve
  3. Hi all, my name is Steve and I am from the California Bay Area. I bought my first 1965 Gto used in 1966. I had it for 6 years and decided to trade it away. I always regretted it and about 15 years ago, I went out and found another one from an original owner. It needed a full restoration which I was not able to start for 10 years. After 2 years of work, a friend and I completed the project. As the car was originally an automatic trans and 4 barrel car, I soon yerned for tri-power and a 4-speed. I found, restored and installed the tri-power 1 year ago and now I have accumulated all of the necessary parts to convert to the 4-speed. It is great to be back in a Pontiac.
