  1. Thanks Frosty! Actually, I've about decided that I'm too late to the party. All the decent, even barely affordable, cars are either smashed, crashed, in Europe, or in a billionaire's bunker.. lol
  2. Hello all.. I'm looking for an 8 cylinder Streamliner. I'm pretty flexible on condition and price. I'd prefer a two door and a manual transmission, but I'd be open to a four door and/or a hydramatic. Thank you!
  3. Thank you very much again 64 kiwi boni and JUSTA6! I will look the "for sale" section and post a want ad. I didn't know about those sections. Thanks!
  4. Thank you 64 kiwi boni .. Excellent advice. From what i've gathered online, these cars should have fender skirts. The selling dealer does not have them. I could buy. a set, but then I'd have to paint the whole car so they would match. Also, this dealer does not allow an inspection before buying! So I will pass on this car.
  5. Hi, I've just joined Forever Pontiac. I've always wanted a 1949-51 Streamliner. I've found one I like, but it does not have fender skirts. I believe it is a Deluxe two door fastback. Were fender skirts standard or was it an extra cost option when new? Any advice, recommendations, and thoughts as to the various pluses and minuses of the various years 49-51 would be welcome, as well as what to watch for when looking at a car for sale. Thank you all in advance!
