This is my friend 1974 Pontiac Forumla Survivor 1 of 52 and 1 of 3 in yellow, and his 1972 Pontaic GTO

Ok - I am officially impressed. A SD-455 Formula is a a very rare bird indeed.A fellow club member has a SD-455 Formula 4-speed car. I have a pretty good idea how much he paid for it too. So I know what this sucker is worth. How much has he been offered for the car?

A red '72 GTO is always nice.

I'll have to ask him how much he paid for it. He is the 3rd or 4th owner. He had talked to all the previous owners. The guy who ordered it didn't want the fancy trans am addons but wanted the performance.

Makes me miss my 74, even though mine was no where near that SD. It was closer to being worth maybe the tires, and that's pushing it. And I've always got love for an A-body

Pontiac may have kept better records for the SD production figures since they knew it was going to be a very limited option. Or it may have been 1970 - since that was a UAW strike year.

That is an impressive Duo!! Birds are my first love, and that is one of my favorites.
