Greetings Ya'll ! Not from the Draft board but from Alabama. I have a restoration shop in Decatur, Alabama. I have been in this line of work since the late 60's, and still doing it in my 70's. I also retired from the US Army & Alabama National Guard in 2010. Instead of watching the T.V. I went back to restoring old cars & trucks. As my email states I owned a 1949 Pontiac Silver Streak 8. That disappeared during a divorce. I have another one a convertible this time in a field. I am in negotiations with a local funeral home on restoring their 1966 Pontiac Bonneville by Superior Coachworks. Anybody know the overall length of it ? Deciding on which trailer to take ? I know bigger is better but not alot of wiggle room where I am going. Thanks Paul Wilmoth @Wilmoth Restorations

Have any pics of your Pontiacs past or present? We ❤️ pics here :)  .

Don’t have an answer on the length but am so interested in hearing and seeing more about that resto and any others.

Welcome Paul, first, thank you for all of your sacrifices and all that you have done for us and this great country we call home. Sounds like you stay pretty busy, do you happen to still have any pictures of the ol' silver streak? As for the length of the coach, I'm clueless but we'd love to see her. Yeah, we love poncho pictures. Theres a couple guys that'll be on after a while and if they don't know I'll be truly shocked. We got some very knowable people on here and everybody is happy to help.

I have some pictures of the hearse, it is in really great shape inside & out. The paint which is a light green is peeling off. No real rust issues, surface rust, or body damage runs and drives. Thr funeral home in Tuscumbia have several antique hearse that they still use in their services. They can make your final trip in something old (50, 60's models) or late model.

Thats awesome Paul, thanks for sharing. Keep us posted on your progress buddy.

Welcome to FP William. The standard 1966 Bonneville sits on a  wheelbase of 124 inches. The Bonneville station wagon is 223 inches long and nearly 80 inches wide.
