1936 Pontiac 4 door

Good afternoon!

I am not a current Pontiac owner, but am a big fan of antique and classic American cars. I'm hoping to obtain some guidance regarding a 1936 sedan with a straight 8 and suicide doors that I've been asked to help unload. I'll search the forums on the topic, but would accept any advice on what to look for as an indication of value.  I'll upload some photos when I have a chance. Over the next week or two I will be attempting to see the condition of the engine. It does turn manually, so that's a good start.  Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I'm afraid, I do not have much insight specific to this year of Pontiac but all the usual indications would be a good idea of value: mechanic condition, body condition, do numbers match, etc... Might be a good place to start, I don't know any usual tear items here.

Condition is everything in this market. If it doesn't run, or needs a complete restoration, then anything under $10k is probably fair game, the worse it is, the less it is worth. If the car runs and drives, and needs varying levels of TLC, then the door is open to $10k or more. Resto-mods and fully restored cars can run upwards of $65-70k. A full blown custom car can fetch 6 figures - especially if it is done by a reputable car builder / customizer.
