Hi all , new here . Divorced and forced into early retirement for health reasons . I had to sell my baby to pay bills and lawyer fees . I put a lot of work in her  .  Installed a 455 - 30 over 9:1 compression ,  TRW flat top pistons ,  comp cams 2.74 dur . 500 lift cam , crane lifters , springs , rockers . Arama steel crank  , stock rods , high volume oil pump , HEI distributor , 750 Holly carb . Headman headers ,  Electric fuel pump . Car was in full trim , full interior. Turbo 400 w/shift kit , 2500 stall converter . 12 bolt posi  end with 4:11 gears from 72 Chevelle . Boxed control arms . M/H slicks . She ran low 12s all day long . Now I am look for a car to help my daughter build and race . She has allways been into cars , and now wants to race something we build together .

 

There are a ton of Pontiac project cars out there. I’d look for 2nd, 3rd and perhaps decent 4th gen Firebirds, old Tempests, T-37, Custom S, and Lemans, perhaps a high mileage G8:with a V6 (thinking LS swap here).

For something different how about a Parisienne? A full size B-body?

Sorry for your loss.  Time for a new adventure.  Happy to see your involving your daughter.  Kids are the ones that will keep our obsession alive.  Proud to say both of my daughters and their spouse's are in to cars so we continue as they were brought up.  Good Times.  Make sure you keep us up on the project you find.
