Hi all,

I just came across this site from a link a friend had posted on FB and wanted to join up with fellow Pontiac enthusiasts, happy to find and meet you! I’m in southeast Texas and have several ponchos from projects to drivers. I love restoring these gems, which is probably a good thing because I couldn’t afford to buy one outright! My wife’s car ‘70 Tempest 400/400 is almost finished (are they ever?!) and we drive it on weekends and to shows. ** A note for guys that want to be able to buy parts for your project…do one for your wife first and she won’t mind (as much) letting you buy your own stuff! 😂 **

I have a 67 goat on the rotisserie at the moment, a 68 Firebird HO coupe (numbers matching engine and 4 speed), a 68 Firebird convertible with numbers matching engine but no transmission yet, and another 68 bird for parts (rust bucket!)

I’ve driven Pontiacs since high school in Alaska and look forward to working on some of these with our grandsons as they grow up.

I have a problem, but at least I can’t afford drugs and alcohol! Lol

Already like this guy, he fits right in.  No such thing as too many Pontiac's.  He must have been tipped off about our obsession with pic's.  Thankz for sharing and welcome to our Pontiac family/tribe. :indian:

Poncho Lew sounds as tragic as Kiwi - more cars in the yard than you can poke a stick at. Still, it's better than putting stuff up your nose...I think.

Welcome fella. These guys are insane but in a good way.

Welcome Lew! We love all things Pontiac! As it was before the demise!
To Kiwi’s point, if there is JustA one good thing that came from the demise of Pontiac? It would be that we don’t have to watch in horror; as the Woke GM leadership would surly take it down the same path that they are doing to all the other divisions! Sad, really sad!

Wow! What a collection you have! Love to hear more about your restorations!

Thank you! Lots of work, I’ll post my progress. It’s nice to have some encouragement once in a while, especially when you have one that you can jump in and take for a ride already… hehehe

Nothing a good drive and an occasional burnout can't fix :D :driving:
