The new guy with a 1964 LeMans

Featured Replies

Hey fellow Pontiac lovers,

Thank you for welcoming me to the site. I have a 1964 Pontiac LeMans  convertible that I have have for 18 years. This is the second 64 that I've had, the first was a post car.  I have been working on the car off and on for 18 years and I didn't have a lot off time because my kids were young, but now I have time because all except one of my kids are grown.

When I purchased the car, I drove it for maybe 5 month and then took it apart (I don't recommend this) and believe me after 18 years I'm ready to cruise.

I have about 2000 pictures that I have from the beginning of the restoration until now.  Here are a few of the most resent picture of my 64.

The bodywork, paint, suspension (may change to adjustable coilovers) , new wiring, engine (1970 400) and transmission are done. I have the glass, top, interior, power windows and chrome/stainless (need to polish), I just have to install or have someone else install.
