the car is my fathers and it is a 04 Matrix XR with a 1ZZ-FE and FWD with phantom grey exterior. but I am a Pontiac enthusiast, so can I be in this group?

We have no rules that say you have to currently own a Pontiac to be a member here. Just need to love Pontiac and want to discuss it ;)

ok in that case I LOVE PONTIAC and my stepmom did have a 97 Bonneville SE and my nana had a 96 grand am se ! and i want to own a trans am ws6 from 2002 in the future!

uhhhhh the bonneville was scrapped many years ago and the grand am was scrapped and i never was able to take a photo but my uncle has a 1978 trans am but no photos yet i belive it just needs gas and new interior but they drive the 2010 Subaru Tribeca 3.6R Touring and the firebird stays in garage

Ram Air cars are definitely cool...Really hard to beat their performance for the price.....

    also i have a question with my fathers matrix concerning interior wiring

    is there any way to make it so that the 2 lights attached to the interior mirror go with the 2 dome lights?

    I have to go but i will check back in at 5:30!

    please give me suggestions and ask me any questions you feel like!

    Should be able to consult owners manual...Should tell you how to change the interior lighting options....

    Yes..If the interior lighting options are able to be changed...It will tell you exactly how to do it in the owners manual that came with the vehicle.....

    the only things it says in the owners manual is how to turn it on and off

    what i want to do it hard wire the type B lights to the 2 dome lights above the rear passengers and the rear hatch

    the only viable way to do what you ask would require you to drop the headliner and splice the mirror lights wires into the dome light wires! For the work, effort and possibility of damage to something, like the headliner I would advise against it.
