This is my 1972 Grand Prix. Other that the wheels I am trying to diagnose the correct color of the vinyl top. Any suggestions by reading the vin tag.

According to your body tag, the upper PNT code is "T". Not much to go on, plus I can't seem to find the vinyl top specs available for a '72 GP.

Can I suggest you order the complete set of paperwork on your car from PHS? This will give you the build sheet information, a replica of the window sticker, etc. This will tell you how your car left the factory. In my opinion, it is $75 well spent.

This is fantastic! With the color code for the top of my car being T. The color name is LIGHT COVERT. Now what in the world could that color be. LOl!!

In the Chevy specs COVERT is a Tan color, FWIW?

Might try contacting/joining the Grand Prix Chapter of POCI
