Well, I know I haven't been around much lately..

And here is one of the reasons..

Yeah, that is a massive crack in the Transmission on my Grand Prix..

Its a dry area, no leaks, however it is a mounting point for the transmission..

So anyone seen this before? Any suggestions?

Im going with drive til she dies, the only proper solution in my mind is to replace, so might as well let it die first...

I have seen cracks like that in bellhousings before but never on a smaller engine like the Grand Prix. The ones that I have seen was on a friend of mines 69 Chevelle and he is on his 3rd or 4th TH400.

its dry.. you could probably even get away with JB weld.. you would be surprised the crap i have gotten myself out of with that stuff!

mmmhmmmm

i have a 4.3L inboard boat upon which i have repaired and rebuilt most of the water jacket with.. 2 seasons and still going strong.. but i have repaired many bell housing with no issue useing jb weld...

good stuff
