    I have a 72 Lemans 350 Sport in which the interior is gutted while I am restoring it. I have noticed a short when I put pressure on the automatic shifter. The console is out now and when I wiggle the shifter I can make the dash lights and radio blink off and on. Seems to involve the shifter cable touching the shifter bracket. Any ideas?
